2月9日，中国马会秘书长岳高峰在巴林麦纳麦参加2017世界阿拉伯马协会会员代表大会，发表题为《阿拉伯马的中国故事》的主题演讲，以下为演讲全文。
阿拉伯马的中国故事
——在2017世界阿拉伯马协会会员代表大会上的主题演讲

尊敬的主席，
各执行委员会成员，
各参会代表，
女士们，先生们：
我谨代表中国马业协会，向世界阿拉伯马协会的热情邀请和接待表示衷心的感谢。
我是岳高峰，是中国马业协会的秘书长。和我同行的有中国纯血马登记委员会秘书长，王振山博士；中国马会国际部部长，戴诗文女士，以及中国马会重要会员单位代表。这是我们首次参加WAHO会议，能代表中国申请并加入WAHO，我们感到非常骄傲。现在，我将向你们讲述阿拉伯马在中国的故事。
中国马业协会（简称“中国马会”），源起于1976年，2002年成立了“中国马业协会”。中国马会具有社会团体法人资格，是中国先进社会组织，是国际纯血马登记管理委员会（ISBC）成员、世界阿哈尔捷金马（汗血马）协会（IAHA）发起成员国、亚洲赛马联盟（ARF）成员。中国马会日常办事机构：秘书处、国家马属动物安全福利中心、国家马业传媒中心、违禁药物检测中心、DNA检测实验室（ISAG .）和国家种马场（筹）。
近100年来，阿拉伯马在中国留下良好的印象，是公认的优良马种。
历史上中国曾多次引入阿拉伯马。传说，伊斯兰先知穆罕穆德王的友人奥马尔，曾与妻子带领40名骑兵和阿拉伯马到达过中国新疆伊犁州。这些马与当地伊犁马配种得良驹，致使伊犁马和阿拉伯马有相似之处。
1934年9月从英国约翰霍登公司购入10匹阿拉伯马并运达上海，后饲养于江苏句容种马牧场，这是中国首次输入阿拉伯种马。有意思的是， 记录1934年有11匹阿拉伯马输入到中国，所以我们猜测，最后一匹名叫“乔治”的1岁马匹是在起运之前或运输途中生下的。
同年，广西省还从印度购入阿拉伯马公马3匹。
作为世界著名的古老马种，阿拉伯马体型结构匀称，外貌优美，适应性强，耐劳苦，抗粗饲。1937年春，为充实军用马匹，改良军马，句容种马场前往伊拉克官方采购阿拉伯种马。
这次输入种马有公马7匹，母马15匹，另有幼驹1匹。
1934年和1937年先后三次从英国、印度和伊拉克引入的阿拉伯马，养于句容马场，1937年抗日战争爆发，1938年10月迁移至贵州省清镇市，后称清镇种马场。
清镇马场占地2800公顷，机构分为农事、育马两科，附设有军马医疗所和8个民马配种站。纯种繁殖阿拉伯马的同时，用之改良蒙古马及西南马。虽经历种种困难，但阿拉伯马保种还在继续。1949年清镇种马场改为军马场，繁育改良马匹达到700余匹，至今，中国西南地区仍有含阿拉伯马血液的杂种马后裔。
1993年，日本友人（石川良并先生），赠送给当时中国全国人大副委员长6匹阿拉伯马。2匹公马，4匹母马。
1995年，石川良并先生再次赠送12匹阿拉伯马，6 匹公马，6匹母马。以上18匹马均来自美国肯塔基州，同时，这些阿拉伯种公马还用于改良中国的山丹马和伊犁马，取得了一定的成效。至此，中国已具有中等规模的优质阿拉伯马群。
2015年5月，吉尔吉斯总统赠给中国国家主席习近平一匹阿拉伯公马，该马于2006年出生，青色，名字叫达姆沙皇（CZAR DAM，2006，）。其父亲是：，。其母亲是。这匹国礼马继承了其祖先的优良基因，能够提高未来在中国阿拉伯马繁育的水平。
2016年1月30日，中国马会邀请美国阿拉伯马协会AHA代表团在北京举办了“阿拉伯马专题讲座”，两位美国专家 女士和 先生介绍了阿拉伯马的历史，起源、发展、血系与登记注册等专业内容。同时， 女士提出建议，希望中国马会申请加入WAHO，在此，我想向Jeff 和表达我们的感谢，感谢他们的帮助，并不辞辛苦地为中国马主讲解阿拉伯马相关专业知识。2016年3月，中国马会收到了WAHO大会的邀请函。
综上，在近百年的时间里，阿拉伯马匹一直不间断地从不同的国家进口到中国，目前，在中国有超过200匹阿拉伯马，均持有世界阿拉伯马协会认证的血统证书或其直系后代。接下来，我们的首要工作是在WAHO与全球同仁的帮助下，尽快完成在中国的每匹阿拉伯马的登记认证工作。
总之，中国拥有五千年灿烂的马文化历史，在960万平方公里的国土上驰骋着600万匹骏马；目前，全中国有1000多家各类马场，有超过1000万的忠实爱马者。作为世界第二大经济体和14亿人口的大国，中国马业得到了政府，市场与社会的高度关注，其发展日新月异，举世瞩目。我们坚信，阿拉伯马的优秀基因和文化一定会在中国得到更好地繁衍与传播，我们也一定会为世界阿拉伯马事业的繁荣贡献特别的力量！
